OMG JUST LOOK AT MY HAPPY SMILE AND BE PREPARED TO FALL INSTANTLY IN LOVE. Show me some patience and we can probably make this arrangement be one of the best things that ever happened to either of us. Lisa has assured me that the right person is looking for me.
So here's the tail of my recent arrival at Blue Lion (the beginning of my life still hurts to think about) ... My person has moved and says they can't take me so here I am over at Blue Lion sitting in a big enclosure, looking out across the prairie and wondering whatever possessed this person I loved and was willing to give my life to protect ... what made them want to move somewhere I can't go ... I’ll never understand it.
OK, so onward and upward, I am a Central Asian Shepherd, 5 years old and serious as a heart attack about my job as the guardian of my person. For this reason, it really is important that my new person have a love and understanding of guardian breeds and how we think and process info. Love me and when we bond, I will give you unquestioning personal protection for every day of my life ... right to my last breath.
So, now you want to know if I like little dogs… They are ok until they decide to run to me or past me, then they are pretty much a food group. Cats? You probably don’t want to take that chance. Did I mention that I have a tendency not to sugar coat my words? Oh, maybe Lisa should move this up higher in my bio.... Lisa? Regarding my interaction with dogs my size and larger ... as long as they don't show aggression to me or my person, I will tolerate their presence, but you can forget that whole play group/dog park concept. My person and I don't need any group activities.
I am good on leash and I am respectful of a 6' or higher fence. I occasionally try to dig if you stick me outside in a yard alone when you leave. I mean, really, how am I supposed to guard the house against burglars? Are you more concerned with your tulips being stolen or do you want to prevent that big beautiful flat screen TV from exiting the building? If you don’t get that concept, you and I are probably not a good match.
Other stuff…I’m spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
Please seriously consider whether you want to make a lifetime commitment to a girl like me and know that I will keep you safe for the rest of my life. Look over Lisa's adoption application and consider whether you have it takes to be a guardian's guardian. We are a pretty selective group and Lisa is going to be very picky.
